This Schnucks is so well stocked. They even have an excellent selection of gluten free items.

First time and although I just needed to pick up a few items it was a solid visit. Plenty of parking and no debris in sight. The walk up was also free of trash. The exterior signage is very viable from the road. The chain is more on the nicer, pricey side I've been told. I can agree, but also typically will shop this type of grocery store at home. I utilized their OTC area of CVS inside the business. I also made note of their wine, beer and liquor department. The bourbon section was strong. The area had a large variety of alcohol beverages. Easy self checkout and on my way. I will note there was staff in the area if I needed assistance which I did not. I would return.

If I had to pick a favorite Schnucks, Richmond Center would be it. I even like this location better than the ones in Ladue and Frontenac. I am just impressed with the items available and their presentation. This location seems to have better produce, meat and bakery goods. I'm even impressed with the prepared foods. If you took me into this store and made sure I could not see any signage letting me know it was a Schuncks, I would think it was their competition that begins with a "D". Schnucks needs to make all their stores, this great. Only downside and I wont take a star away, was the checkout. The line to have a cashier was super long at 3:30PM and that isn't even a peak time for shopping. Open more lanes with a cashier.

This is our favorite Schnucks in the region. Always clean, well stocked, and clearly displayed deals. Not to mention the kind cashiers!

Schnucks is similar to Jewel-Osco in the Chicagoland area. The bakery section here is pretty expansive offering a variety of cakes, muffins, cookies and other treats. I'm surprised to find prices here slightly higher than I do at Jewel-Osco, notably in the meat and produce sections. Pre-packaged food prices are similar. Apparently I've been sleeping on this Schnucks. This is my go-to for fried Swai fillets, cut into strips. The downside is the parking lot, which is exceptionally busy. I warn you to be very careful and park out of your way. I watched 2 carts come out of the holding space and roll down the aisle. One car dinged the side of a parked car really bad. The seafood station here is always popping. They stay busy. They will fry or steam any seafood item for you, to perfection. Another busy station is the hot foods. I discovered some delicious hot-n-fresh pizza. At $3 for a huge square, a steal!!! They offer such a variety of items, you don't ever have to cook again. The variety of fresh fruits and vegetables is phenomenal. They also have a great selection of local vendors in their own private freezer aisle. I also like the selection in general for shopping needs. This is by far one of the better Schnucks. They stay busy. The lines move fast. My favorite is still Des Peres but this comes in a close second. You should definitely check them out.
